Study pokes holes in airbag standards

I sometimes wonder why do people who care about their safety have to compromise their crash protection. Airbag designs are compromised so that they protect unbelted occupants too. This new study has found out that the design of newer airbags is tilted too heavily in favor of unbelted occupants.
